These are all the new features of GTA V Online for January

The first weekly update for GTA V Online in 2024 brings exciting new features, including a wildlife photo challenge, the addition of the Declasse Forest Guard police vehicle, and the return of peyote plants.

Players can participate in the challenge by submitting photos of animals to the LS Tourism Office, earning rewards of GTA$20,000 and 500 RP for each image, with a limit of three photos per day. In addition, capturing ten photos unlocks the forest off-roader at a reduced price of $2,235,000. Peyote plants are also reintroduced, allowing players to temporarily transform into animals.

These new features follow the recent holiday update that included festive events, game modes and rewards to celebrate the season. The photo challenge and Declasse Ranger Declasse vehicle are exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox X/Series, leaving PC players without access. Despite this, PC fans are hoping that Rockstar Games will eventually include the new content in future updates.

GTA V Online &;s LS Car Meet series offers bonus opportunities with double GTA$ and RP through various activities, such as HSW racing, stunt racing, time trials and the Adversary Trap Door mode. Players who reach the top three places for three consecutive days in the LS Car Meet series will receive the Declasse Tulip as a reward.

All in all, the GTA Online update features photo challenges, exclusive vehicles and events to keep players entertained, although some content is only available to next-gen console users. However, this may not be enough with the recent announcement of GTA VI for 2025. But, until then it&;s time to keep enjoying GTA V&;s Online mode.
