Second Game of Thrones prequel now has a release date

The second Game of Thrones prequel seems to already have an estimated release date, after HBO reported in 2023 that they were immersed in a new project that would tell us more about the lore and the world created by George R.R. Martin before the events that took place in Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones: Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is the name given to the second prequel to Game of Thrones, which is expected to be released in 2025, or at least that is the intention. Well HBO has plans to release the second season of Dragon House already.

What we know about this new series of the GoT universe is that it will be set a century before the events of Game of Thrones . It will star Duncan the Tall, a young knight who will witness the last throes of the Targaryen legacy in Westeros until the return of Daenerys.

The first season of the series will adapt the first book and will be structured in a total of 6 episodes. Although there are plans to turn the series into a 3-season series.
